be a child, it's more fun!

As I was sitting with him in Chick-fil-A, I asked him the question on this card. He was so quick to respond, he excitedly said "a child, duh!!" and before I could even respond he said "Just trust me it's awesome!" I kinda paused and sat there to think about what he has responded with because it reminded me of something that can seem simple but we don't quite grasp it..having childlike faith is SO important. In a child's eyes it seems as though a kiss can make it all better. They have no fear. They shoot for the stars and don't let anything stop them. They trust anything and everything anyone says. Fearless, unwavering, reckless childlike faith. I wanna live like that!

When we get older we tend to let that faith die out. Doubt and insecurity set in, we fail to resist fear. We have outgrown the simple perspective of children. Why don't we try to go back to our child-like imagination, where we believed anything was possible? We have a God of the impossible and His plans for us are for more greater than our own. Go after what God has called you to do whole-heartedly and trust without questioning what could go wrong. Know you are covered by the grace of God. It's not about being more, it's about KNOWING you are already enough and who He has called you to be. Next time you find yourself doubting, remind yourself to leap like a child into our Father's arms. YOU are destined for greatness!!
